The Dead Sea is less than one hour drive from Amman Queen Alia international airport. Amman is served by a wide variety of international airlines with direct routes to most major destinations and hubs, including nonstop flights to major European and North American destinations as well as Asian cities.
Royal Jordanian Airlines has been designated as official congress carrier and will provide discounted congress air tickets.
Most of the business places in the Middle East are connected to Amman airport several times per day.
Please note that a visa is required to visit Jordan. To make access to Jordan as convenient as possible, we recommend to register for free visa. Please notice that two service packages including fast track Immigration are available at 13 or 45 JOD per passport - visa itself is complimentary. This service will be provided by Tyche Tours - the appointed IAP Congress Destination Management Company - sponsored by Jordan Tourism Board. Please click the READ MORE button in the Visa box below. An information desk of the XXXII Congress of the International Academy of Pathology (IAP) to welcome congress delegates directly at Amman airport. However please check visa requirements with the local Jordan embassy or at the website.
Transport between Airport & the Congress Venue
The congress venue and its hotels are less than one hour drive from Amman Queen Alia international airport. The streets are clearly sign-posted throughout the journey. Taxis offer a fixed price from the airport to the Dead Sea.
A complimentary shuttle running between Queen Alia International Airport and the congress venue will bring you to hotel or congress venue within 45 minutes on Saturday, 13 and Sunday, 14 October.
Private transfers can also be prebooked with all major car rental companies.
